I would like to receive an email to remind me of tasks and appointments I
have placed in my calendar.

How do I do that? Anyone have an idea?

Outlook has reminders, etc. I even have mine set to remind me to take my
vitamins and blood pressure meds. (Sometimes I really get into a task lose
track of time while I'm working so the reminder comes in handy.)
